According to Webster’s Dictionary the word Honor carries many meanings and connotations but in the context of this article, the definitive terms of REPUTATION, RECOGNITION, INTEGRITY, HONESTY, PURITY OF PURPOSE and CONTENT OF CHARACTER will be that which describes the HONOR discussed, AMERICA’S HONOR.
On August 28, 2010 Mr. Glenn Beck held a Restoring Honor rally on the lawn of the Lincoln Memorial in our nation’s capitol, attended by hundreds of thousands of peaceful Americans hungry for the message of peace, love and honor. Our shameless main stream media immediately attempted to twist, misrepresent and defile the very message we as American’s hold so dear. Honor is the corner stone of the foundation of this nation, placed there by the blood, tears and content of character of our founding fathers and mothers. Yet today most Americans have forgotten the meaning of honor and rejected that which makes it possible. Honor is not just a human emotion, accolade or meaningless temporary state; it is the essence of God’s Grace and must be earned, not demanded, stolen or placed indiscriminately.
In 1776, fifty-six men, on the authority of the good people of the colonies, signed the Declaration of Independence, mutually pledging to each other their lives, their fortunes and their sacred HONOR. They were British subjects but a state of siege, repression of rights and liberties and taxation without representation had existed for many years so the people found themselves fighting their own government for independence.
In 1789, the founders gave us our most precious possession, our Republic, not a democracy and not a form of government ever tried before. They gave us the Great American Experiment, a democratic republic of self governance in which that sacred Honor was tantamount to success.
When the Constitutional Convention of 1787 ended and Benjamin Franklin stepped outside Independence Hall, he was approached by Mrs. Powell of Philadelphia. She asked…“Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” Without a moment’s hesitation he answered, “A republic, if you can keep it.”
The effort to undo that great experiment started almost from the beginning. 1789 to 1798 became the federalist age marked by new taxes, unprecedented increases in government spending, limiting of civil liberties, and the judiciary act of 1789. "Such were the agencies of power created to make the will of the national government a living force in every community from New Hampshire to Georgia, from the seaboard to the frontier."…. Charles Beard
As a result the nation was very nearly destroyed before it ever had a chance. The great excesses of the federalists and their thirst for the expansion of central government and power was halted and in many ways reversed by the election of Thomas Jefferson to the presidency. Until the Lincoln years and the Civil War the nation was prosperous and the ideals of self governance were a great success.
It is thought today that the “progressive movement” to destroy or transform this nation into a socialist utopia is largely a 20th and 21st century endeavor. Nothing could be further from the truth. The seeds of the progressive movement began in the 1800’s and the motive was not political or even ideological. The motive was power and greed. From the beginning of this great nation the richest banking families of Britain and Europe had sought to pluck America like a ripe fruit from the vine to line their own already bulging pockets and satisfy the inevitable boredom great wealth creates. What is left to attain for those who have everything? There is but one thing, world domination through power for no earthly reason other than the satisfaction of completion. There is no honor in the men or the plan. There is only the insatiable need to satisfy the darkest side of human nature and the cost, in monetary measure or human life is immaterial.
At the onset of the Civil War the Constitution was set aside and martial law put into place for the duration of the war. The real problem in America begins with the fact that the Constitution was never re-instated. For all intents and purposes we have been under martial law since the beginning of that war. With the passage of the Act of 1871, America found herself under a new government unbeknownst to the people. A new hidden government known only to those involved as the United States Corporation. It looked like America, it even acted like America on the surface. It claimed to use the same Constitution the people had long treasured but it wasn’t the same Constitution. Today we hear our representatives and even our presidents say that our Constitution is a living document and subject to change with the times. In a way they are telling the truth because the one they are referring to is not the Constitution For the United States of America but the Constitution OF the United States; a subtle difference meant to deceive and that deception has been highly successful. No one notices one tiny three letter word is replaced with a two letter one that changes an entire nation, her future, her people and obliterates her HONOR.
Once the corporation was achieved the slow conversion from liberty to bondage was craftily plotted. From the great deceit at Jekyll Island where the Federal Reserve scam was devised to the infiltration and destruction of our churches through the IRS 501C tax exemption enabling the corporation government to limit what can be preached from the pulpit the plan has unfolded. America’s coffin is lined with the dreams of generations of her children who will never realize them as they are indoctrinated, brain washed, even given behavior modification drugs so they will all be little mindless robots and taught that nobody should strive to be better, that to achieve greatness is unfair to the child who doesn’t, that everybody gets a trophy or nobody does and now even their personal salvation is only possible through collective salvation. Where is our HONOR?
This great and mighty nation is now led by a man who refuses to honor our flag, our national anthem, our allies, and even the wishes of the people. His administration files yet another lawsuit against the state of Arizona to stop her from securing her borders and protecting her people for no other reason than securing his voter base made up of millions of illegals and minorities. His personally appointed representative from the Department of Labor lectures high school students and tells them “Republicans Hate Latinos.” He bows to our enemies and snubs those who are our staunchest friends. He surrounds himself with extreme radicals who wish to collapse the nation in order to instill a socialist global agenda and sells it to the people under the lie of “hope and change.” Where is our HONOR
Our own president pushes his agenda of cap and trade based on phony science in order to personally profit through the Chicago Climate Exchange (changing its name doesn’t change its spots), with the help of other corrupt politicians and 60’s radicals. Where is our HONOR?
For a century our young men and women have been sent into unfounded wars for the sake of the fortunes of those same self appointed elite bankers and left death and destruction the legacy of the nation. Where is our HONOR?
134 of our Congressmen have been caught with their hands in the cookie jar after stealing money from the stimulus packages and secreting it away in foreign bank accounts. Senators and Congressmen and even a President have been caught in lies and immoral activities, tax cheating and ethics violations. The IMF now lies in wait for large private monetary transactions, uses Homeland Security to seize them and then they simply steal the money. Our economy is deliberately tanked to bring about total collapse for the purpose of achieving that final goal, world power and One World Governance under a handful of morally bankrupt bankers. Where is our HONOR?
Millions of indolent Americans survive on public assistance provided by the sweat equity of those with enough personal responsibility and integrity to hold down a job. Where is our HONOR?
Millions of other Americans stand, march, protest, write letters, sign petitions and exercise their unalienable rights only to be labeled Astro Turf, potential domestic terrorists, right wing extremists, haters, racists and any other derogatory name the government and its puppet media can concoct. Where is our HONOR?
The list of dishonorable people and their actions could go on until I am too old to type but the point is that America’s HONOR has disappeared from the hearts and minds of her people. It is our fault this has happened. We have through apathy and complacency sat back on our behinds and when we did notice we said things like, “well somebody should do something” or “they should do this or that”. Who are THEY? I hate to break it to you America but YOU are THEY. Yes you and me, and the guy on the corner are THEY. We are the only hope this nation has. We are the great source of that lost HONOR and it is up to us to reclaim it.
Did you ever wonder what happened to those 56 brave men who signed the Declaration of Independence?
Five were captured by the British and tortured for treason before they died. Twelve had their homes burned to the ground. Two lost their sons in the Revolutionary War, another had two sons captured. Nine of the fifty-six fought and died from wounds or illness resulting from the hardships of the Revolutionary War. Others lost their entire fortunes, possessions and even their families.
Freedom isn’t free and those brave men paid a very high price for that which we so easily take for granted but they retained the most valuable of possessions, God’s Grace. They retained their HONOR!
Glenn Beck retained his HONOR when he kept his word and presented that incredible rally without taking a political stand or telling the nation why we have lost our HONOR. He is right; in order to restore our HONOR we must restore our faith, in our God and in ourselves before we can begin to heal our country. We must stand against whatever may come, in peace and in faith as we right our greatest of mistakes, our own willing compliance with the plans of evil men.
“Be the change you want to see in the world”… Mahatma Ghandi
“Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can't ride you unless your back is bent.”… Martin Luther King Jr.
“Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”… John F. Kennedy
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”… Jesus Christ
IT’S TIME AMERICA, TO RESTORE OUR HONOR……….. IT’S TIME TO RESTORE AMERICA!
